Growing kits and equipment FAQs

Should I choose a jar or a growing tray?
Jars suit many edible sprouting seeds. Trays support microgreens and wheatgrass grown on a suitable medium. Choose the equipment for the crop you want to grow.
Does every kit include seeds and growing medium?
Kit contents differ. Check the individual listing for included seed, trays, jars and medium, and for anything you need to supply separately.
What is the difference between a grow tray and a drip tray?
A grow tray has drainage holes. A solid drip tray sits underneath to collect runoff and can support bottom watering once roots establish.
Can I reuse the equipment?
Reusable jars and trays can be used for repeated crops. Remove old roots and medium, clean thoroughly and follow the product’s sanitising and care instructions.
Is all growing equipment dishwasher-safe?
No single care rule applies to every item. Check the product instructions for dishwasher suitability and temperature limits.
