Proper cleaning, drying and storage will help keep your sprouting equipment hygienic and in good working condition. Always follow any product-specific care instructions supplied with the item.

Cleaning: Wash reusable jars, trays, lids, screens and other growing components thoroughly before first use and after every crop. Use warm water and a mild detergent, then rinse well with clean water.

Sanitising: Equipment used for growing edible sprouts or microgreens should be sanitised regularly using a suitable food-contact sanitising method that is compatible with the product material. Rinse where required by the sanitiser instructions.

Drying: Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling or storing. Trapped moisture can encourage mould, odours and microbial growth.

During Growing: Keep drainage holes, mesh screens and ventilation areas clear so water can drain freely and air can circulate around the crop. Remove seed residue and organic matter between growing cycles.

Handling: Avoid abrasive scourers, harsh chemicals or excessive force that may scratch, warp or damage plastic, glass, mesh or other components. Do not expose equipment to high heat unless the product is specifically rated for it.

Inspection: Check reusable equipment regularly for cracks, chips, damaged screens, worn seals or other deterioration. Replace damaged components that can no longer be cleaned effectively or used safely.

Storage: Store clean, completely dry equipment in a dry, well-ventilated area away from excessive heat, direct sunlight and contamination.

Best Care: Product materials and cleaning requirements can vary, so follow any specific washing, dishwasher, temperature or maintenance instructions shown on the product packaging or product page.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order size and weight, delivery address and available carrier services. We use Australia Post and other carriers to provide suitable delivery options and rates.

Dispatch

Orders are generally packed and dispatched within 0–2 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding public holidays and unusually busy periods.

Delivery Times

Delivery times begin from the date your order is dispatched. As a general guide, Australia Post Parcel Post usually takes 2–6 business days, while Express Post generally takes 1–3 business days where available.

Regional and remote destinations may take longer. Orders containing seed sent to Western Australia, Tasmania or other biosecurity-controlled destinations may also require additional processing or inspection.

Delivery estimates are provided as a guide only and can be affected by carrier delays, weather, peak periods and biosecurity requirements.

Tracking

All shipped orders include tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking information so you can follow its progress.

Authority to Leave

Depending on the carrier and delivery service, your parcel may be left in a safe location if no one is available to receive it. You can provide delivery instructions during checkout where supported by the carrier; however, specific delivery requests cannot always be guaranteed.

Local Pickup – Riverstone, NSW

Local pickup can be selected at checkout when available. Please allow approximately 2–3 business days for your order to be prepared.

Wait until we contact you to confirm that your order is ready and arrange a suitable collection time.

Please do not attend the warehouse without an appointment. All pickups are strictly by prior arrangement.

Seed Biosecurity – WA & Tasmania

Seeds and other plant material may be subject to state biosecurity restrictions.

Western Australia has specific entry requirements for seed, and seed consignments may be inspected by Quarantine WA. Tasmania also regulates the importation of viable seed, with additional requirements applying to certain species and consignments.

Requirements vary by seed species, quantity and destination and may change over time. Customers in Western Australia, Tasmania and other biosecurity-controlled areas should check current state requirements before ordering.

Where an order contains seed that cannot meet applicable biosecurity requirements, we may need to contact you before dispatch or remove affected products from the order.
