Fresh Wheatgrass – Grown to Order

Proper refrigeration, clean handling and moisture control will help maintain the freshness and quality of fresh sprouts and microgreens.

Refrigeration: Refrigerate fresh sprouts and microgreens promptly after collection or delivery and keep them at 5°C or below. Return the product to the refrigerator as soon as possible after serving or handling.

Storage: Keep produce in its original packaging or a clean food-safe container. Protect it from contamination and avoid crushing or tightly compressing delicate microgreens.

Moisture: Excess moisture can shorten storage life and encourage deterioration. Keep microgreens as dry as practical during storage and avoid allowing water to collect inside the container.

Handling: Always use clean hands and utensils when handling fresh produce. Avoid cross-contamination from raw meat, unwashed produce, dirty surfaces or other potential sources of contamination.

Before Eating: Inspect the product before use. Where washing is appropriate, rinse with clean drinking-quality water shortly before eating rather than washing well in advance of storage.

Freshness: Fresh sprouts and microgreens are perishable and are best consumed as soon as practical after collection or delivery. Follow any product-specific use-by, best-before or storage information provided with your order.

Food Safety: Discard produce showing signs of mould, sliminess, unusual discolouration, abnormal odour or other deterioration. Do not consume fresh sprouts or microgreens if you are unsure of their condition.

Best Quality: Keep the product continuously refrigerated, handle it hygienically and minimise unnecessary exposure to warmth and moisture until ready to use.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order size and weight, delivery address and available carrier services. We use Australia Post and other carriers to provide suitable delivery options and rates.

Dispatch

Orders are generally packed and dispatched within 0–2 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding public holidays and unusually busy periods.

Delivery Times

Delivery times begin from the date your order is dispatched. As a general guide, Australia Post Parcel Post usually takes 2–6 business days, while Express Post generally takes 1–3 business days where available.

Regional and remote destinations may take longer. Orders containing seed sent to Western Australia, Tasmania or other biosecurity-controlled destinations may also require additional processing or inspection.

Delivery estimates are provided as a guide only and can be affected by carrier delays, weather, peak periods and biosecurity requirements.

Tracking

All shipped orders include tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking information so you can follow its progress.

Authority to Leave

Depending on the carrier and delivery service, your parcel may be left in a safe location if no one is available to receive it. You can provide delivery instructions during checkout where supported by the carrier; however, specific delivery requests cannot always be guaranteed.

Local Pickup – Riverstone, NSW

Local pickup can be selected at checkout when available. Please allow approximately 2–3 business days for your order to be prepared.

Wait until we contact you to confirm that your order is ready and arrange a suitable collection time.

Please do not attend the warehouse without an appointment. All pickups are strictly by prior arrangement.

Seed Biosecurity – WA & Tasmania

Seeds and other plant material may be subject to state biosecurity restrictions.

Western Australia has specific entry requirements for seed, and seed consignments may be inspected by Quarantine WA. Tasmania also regulates the importation of viable seed, with additional requirements applying to certain species and consignments.

Requirements vary by seed species, quantity and destination and may change over time. Customers in Western Australia, Tasmania and other biosecurity-controlled areas should check current state requirements before ordering.

Where an order contains seed that cannot meet applicable biosecurity requirements, we may need to contact you before dispatch or remove affected products from the order.
